When Peter Short, former CEO of Coles Express wanted to get the PM's attention and action on the Dying with Dignity campaign, he reached out to Roy to get his message across.
Within 5 days of releasing his Write On song, he received the phone call he was after straight from the Prime Minister himself and was able to commence the conversations that would shortly after bring the campaign back into the senate and make his final battle a victory.
